First letter is in!!

Hey fam,
I'm doing good. Well today I am doing a lot better. Yesterday was pretty tough.  I was fine at first and having a good time, but when I had down time in this cave of a room, it was just hard.  But today is much better.  I keep reaching for my phone, because something happens and I would text somebody and tell them about it but it is never there.  I got to play ball earlier which was fun, but when we got back the showers were being cleaned.  We just snuck upstairs and used the next floors showers.  My companion is pretty cool.  He reminds me of George "can't-stand-ya" but he isn't too bad.  Rachel I told you I was gonna get the smelly kid!! But anyway I get mail any day it gets here so if yous spread it out that would be nice, however I would like to hear from all of you! I have been told you just have to make it to Sunday (in the MTC) and it gets better so we will see.  I bought ten stamps and used almost my whole $6 so that wasn't cool, but I shouldn't have to buy too many more while I'm here.  I kept thinking I would need a bottle of hydrogen peroxide, but I found an 8 oz. bottle on the shelf for a dollar so thats good.
My companion is very quiet so we sit in silence when its just the two of us which is ok but there is another companionship in our room, and a really cool kid that I get along with well, so nights aren't bad because I can talk to him.  Only problem is he is a cougar fan he then redeemed himself by being a Jazz fan.  So I can talk sports with him.. somewhat.  I don't know when letters will be coming, but I just had to send this pink slip home today for the immunizations.  Don't worry about me, the lord with with me, and helping a lot.  Give the dogs a hug for me, and send some pictures please.  I love you all and can't wait to hear from you.  I don't know if I can email this week, but if not I will write again.  I am keeping busy and trying to keep my head in the work and not think about home too much.  I found out that I can't use my ipod in the MTC which blows .. oh well I'll have to find something else to do.  The food is fine, but I figured out why people gain weight..they go back three times for more.  Thankfully I don't have that problem.  Anyway I hope you all are doing good, because I am now, with the Lord's help.
I am always thirsty by the way, so if you send something send me a bottle or something so I can have a drink, but preferably one that doesn't leak so I can keep it in my bag.  I don't really want to use my camelbak here.  I am still waiting for Ben's advice!! But I will talk to you soon.
